As a DJ, Alex Taylor has rocked dance-floors across Australia for over ten years. With a versatile style and a keen ear for programming, Alex manages to seamlessly mix chunky house with rocking, electrofied beats through to the smooth sounds of soulful deep house.

A seven year residency at Sydney's biggest super-club, Home saw his popularity rise to the point where he was soon playing alongside and headlining with a list of top shelf internationals as long as your arm :

In the past five years, Alex has become a true global player, with regular DJ tours of Europe, Asia and the US with gigs at legendary clubs and nights such as We Love @ Space Sunday's (Ibiza), Pacha (Ibiza), Heaven (London) The End (London), Homelands (London), Mezzanine (San Francisco), Here Lounge (Los Angeles), Attica (Shanghai), Happ y (Singapore), Fridae.com's Squirt (Bangkok) & Snowball (Singapore) Parties, Bliss & Liquid (Kuala Lumpur), and various gigs in New Zealand, South Korea and Bali.

With a CV that reads like the Who's Who of Australian dance party history Alex has played at a multitude of major events across the nation such as the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball, Sydney's harbour side party , Azure, Fuzzy Parklife, Mobile Home, Queer Nation and Big Queer Nation, Winterdaze, Red Raw, Home Bake, Gatecrasher, Two Tribes, various Pride parties around the country, playing at a private party for Madonna during her Girly Show tour of Australia and playing at the pre-gig U2 cocktail parties in Sydney.

Regularly booked around Australia at venues such as The Family in Brisbane, One Love at The Prince in Melbourne , Sapphire Bar and Ambar , Perth and Academy in Canberra . Every weekend, when he's not touring, Alex can be found at a variety of Sydney clubs and nights with residencies at ARQ, Slide, Mars Lounge, The Colombian and guest appearances at Homesexual , The Midnight Shift, DTPM, Moulin Rouge, Dragonfly, The Chinese Laundry, Tank, Yu, Clean & Serene, Sounds On Sunday, Home Nightclub and most recently promoting and playing at his own successful Sunday night Flash at Mars Lounge.

Since it's inception Alex has been consistently voted into the Technics Inthemix Top 50 Australian DJ's and won the DIVA Award for 'Best DJ' in '94,'96,'97,'98 and '99.

To date, Taylor has mixed eight commercially available CDs including the Ministry Of Sound's Clubber's Guide To 2003 and more recently Vinyl Pusher: ‘Addictions' on Melbourne label Vinyl Pusher. In the past two years he has been producing and remixing with studio partner Rob Taylor; their first remix of Hi Fi Mike's – ‘I'll Carry You' reaching number 13 in the ARIA Club Chart . With his most recent production being a remix of the new ATFC feat. Inaya Day single, ‘Reach Out To Me' which reached number 4 on the ARIA Club Chart and was released on Onephatdeeva Records in the UK . They are currently back in the studio working on more remixes and original production.
