Playing a wide
selection of popular music ranging from the forties jazz era through to the
best of today’s contemporary music,Big Strumcan be booked as
a duo or up to a nine piece band. From smooth dinner and cocktail
music to soulful grooves and party dance hits, Big Strum creates the perfect
atmosphere for any event.
Since 1993 the Big
Strum has been in great demand for weddings, corporate functions and special
events and has performed extensively on the Sydney pub and club circuit.
They have also held residencies at five star hotels and casinos both in
Australia and overseas.
Members of Big Strum have played with the “who’s who” of
the music industry including Julian Lennon, David Hasselhoff, Human Nature,
Christine Anu, Kate Cebrano, Wendy Mathews, Doug Parkinson, Tap Dogs, Marcia
Hines, Vanessa Amorosi, Tommy Emmanuel, Don Burrows, Galapagas Duck ,Glenn
Shorrock, Marina Prior ,and Mark Williams as well as writing and
recording commercials for radio and television.
