Dan Luscombe, Marimba extraordinaire, has teamed up with The String Selection to create a high impact, high energy spectacle of lights, power and intense musical virtuosity. Accompanied by glamorous electric string players and a huge orchestral/dance track, Dan Luscombe flies around the marimba at high speed leaving audiences breathless.
 

Dan Luscombe
Dan is a classically trained percussionist studying at the Conservatorium of Sydney. His passion for music has taken around the world as a soloist and as a member of various orchestras and ensembles. He has performed and attended masterclasses with some of the worlds finist musicians and percussionist including Evelyn Glennie, NEXUS, Robert van Sice, Synergy, Southern Cross Soloists, James Morrison, Tommy Emmanuel, and Lalo Davila. Daniel has supported Human Nature, Vanessa Amorosi, Debehla Morgan and in September of 2004 he performed at Channel Nines River Symphony with the Whitlams. Daniel looks foward to combining more popular/world genres with his intense classical training to create a World/R’n’B/House infused product for corporate and Las Vegas type clients.

Dan works with a wide range of feature artists including, various R’n’B, Jazz and World musicians. Dan commonly performs his corparate shows with a HOT string group that add an amazing element of energy and sparkle to an event.
