JACKIE O BASED: Sydney, Australia Jackie O has established herself in mass media as one of Australia’s most successful and high profile radio co-host, interviewer, television presenter and magazine columnist. Her radio career commenced in Adelaide in 1993 as Triple M’s phone girl before being quickly promoted to co–host the Hot30.com Countdown. Jackie O’ moved to Sydney as co-presenter of the HoT30.com Countdown alongside Kyle Sandilands. Jackie O’ moved into television as host of the late night music program GROUND ZERO in 1997 for the Ten Network. This was quickly followed by a dominant role in three consecutive series of the docu-soap POPSTARS for the Seven Network. For POPSTARS 1, 2 and 3 where Jackie was instrumental in selecting the band members of Bardot (2000), Scandal’us (2001) and soloist Scott Cain (2002). Based on the success of POPSTARS 2 Jackie was offered the presenter role on THE MORNING SHIFT for the Seven Network in 2000. In May 2002 Jackie joined Ian Thorpe, Simone Kessell and former Bardot band member Katie Underwood in the feel-good series UNDERCOVER ANGELS, also for the Seven Network. Jackie O’ has applied her writing skills on a weekly music entertainment column in NW magazine and as of 2005 has had a dedicated entertainment column in OK magazine. In March of 2004 Jackie O and Kyle re located their hugely popular Radio show to the Drive position on 2 Day FM from 4-7pm where they established themselves at the top of the ratings. In 2005 Kyle and Jackie O took over the coveted Morning shift on 2 Day FM where they quickly grabbed and maintained the Number 1 FM ratings spot going from strength to strength. In 2004 Jackie hosted the Arena TV Celebrity Interview show "Access All Areas". Then in 2005 Jackie was thrilled to initiate an ongoing association with The Ford Motor Company as the ambassador for the Impressive Ford Focus. 2005 also saw Jackie launch the re branding of Hair Care brand Sunsilk ending in 2006. Later that same year Jackie was named host of Network 10 series "Australian Princess" which aired October/November 2005. The following year Jackie hosted the second series of Australian Princess which aired in December of 2006. Jackie was also honoured to be a co host on Channel 10’s broadcast of the 2006 Aria Awards. In 2007 Jackie signed to the Nine network for a specific number of projects for that year including co hosting the Logies Red Carpet Special. In June Jackie appeared as entertainment reporter on Mick Molloy’s "The Nation" and Co hosted the show "Surprise Surprise Gotcha" which aired in Sept/Oct of that year. In November of 2007 it was announced that Jackie would return to Network Ten joining Kyle as the new hosts of Big Brother in 2008. Jackie has MC'd selected events for LG ,Elizabeth Arden , Real Living Magazine and Co hosted The 2007 Dolly Teen Choice Awards with Jules Lund. Jackie holds the unique position as one of Australias leading personalities to juggle and enjoy demanding roles in journalism, radio and television.
