Kristy
became a fashion model in her early teens and at 14 landed a
contract with Australian Vogue magazine, making her the
youngest person ever to do so. For the next 12 months, she took on
modeling gigs in Melbourne and Sydney.
After moving to the U.S. and the big leagues, she worked for
Victoria's Secret and appeared in magazines like Maxim, Sports
Illustrated, and British Cosmopolitan (she made the
cover).
Kristy also has some acting gigs under her belt: Boys and Girls
(2000), the little-seen Without Charlie (2001), the
independent The Look (2003), and the Australian feature
The Extra (2005).
More recently she has hosted the successful Australian version of popular reality design television show, Project Runway.
Kristy Hinze, 28, who is the granddaughter of the late Russ Hinze - Queensland National Party minister- is set to walk down the aisle and marry the American billionaire Jim Clark, 64, the internet pioneer who founded Netscape.
