Matt Nugent is on of Australia’s most in demand DJs, holding down a high-profile residency at the massive Syndey club night "ONELOVE" @ tank as well as various guest spots around Australia. Originally making a name for himself in Brisbane, with residencies at "Family", "The Empire", "Monastery" & Viva as well as playing at pretty much any club or one-off party worth going to. Matt has mixed it with the cream of the crop at his club gigs & during the national summer festival circuit at Good Vibrations, Summerfieldayze, Vibes on a Summers Day, Two Tribes and more.

Although, predominately a house DJ, Matt is very versatile across various genres of dance music, so promoters know they can slot him in pretty much anywhere and he'll still come packed full of surprises. Matt has twice been nominated as best Brisbane DJ, in the Australian Dance Music Awards & rated number 2 in Brisbane and among the top 50 DJs in Australia through the popular voting competition on inthemix.com.au.

Matt has just mixed a disc on the onelove compilation CD alongside Crookers and TV Rock's Grant Smillie, this is Matt's 4th cd release which follows on from mixing a disc of the Chinese Laundry mix CD alongside the UK's Jon Carter, Australian label Central Station's 30th anniversary CD release with Australian dance icon Groove Terminator (G.T/Tonite Only) as well as a mixed CD for Brisbane superclub Family.

In 2007 2 of Matt & Nick’s remixes crack the top 5 on the Australian club chart (of (the Potbelleez “Junkyard” and Mark Dynamix & Jaytech's "Destructor"), and two other strong showings in the chart for Matt & Nick's remixes of Scenario Rock's "Skitzo Dancer" and Jeff Drake and Nash T's "Rollover Rockstar".

2008 is shaping up to be a big year for Matt as he spends more and more time in the studio focusing on producing original material & remixing with production partner Nick Galea.
