The undisputed king of Australia’s hard dance scene, Nik Fish’s popularity has continued to grow in 2004. With frequent gigs around the country, a number of mix CDs to his name, and his new record label (Venom Music) continuing to grow, Fish’s fans helped him to climb one spot to number 3.

Nik Fish’s position as a leading Australian DJ is reinforced by his skill, determination, drive, passion and many years of hard work. His career began on radio in the early 90’s as a presenter of his own dance music show called ‘Musiquarium’.

Nik’s received numerous awards including being in the Top 5 Australian DJ’s in the past 5 year years (ITM Top 50 Australian DJ Poll’s and DMA’s) as well a receiving an ARIA nomination for ‘Best Dance Release’ for his track, ‘The Winner Is…’

He’s played various musical genres ranging from Hip Hop, House, Rave, Trance and is now championing the harder dance styles. Nik has established a cult following with a massive fanbase that sees him regularly headlining clubs, raves and festivals all around the nation.

He’s also represented Australia internationally, performing at the Berlin Loveparade street party as well as playing throughout Asia many times. Currently Nik is based in Sydney where he is resident DJ for sublime at home nightclub.

He heads his own music label called Kombat Records with several original and remix productions being released in 2008.
