With a reputation for writing some of the cleverest, funniest and most original stand-up comedy in Australia, Dave Jory is fast becoming one of Sydney’s most in demand comedians. Author of the 2001 comedy book ‘I know everything’ (which Hustler Magazine said ‘has the edge over Woody Allen’), Jory is also a freelance magazine columnist and a former contributing writer for ‘The Glasshouse’ (ABC TV) and several other shows. Jory also presents a humourous weekly radio segment (‘Dave Jory Lifts the Lid on Tinseltown’) on Triple J, every Saturday morning. Voted as one of Zoo Magazine’s ‘10 Funniest New Australian Comedians’, Jory has worked extensively for the past few years to create a stand-up act that is clever, relatable, light on profanity and most of all, hilarious.
