DEBORA KRIZAK BASED: Sydney, Australia
MC Debora is an experienced MC, having hosted the MITSUBISHI MOTORSHOW at Sydney’s Darling Harbour as well as various fashion parades for Westfield Shopping towns and corporate events. She has worked as a regular MC at Sydney’s STAR CITY CASINO launching major promotions in their VIP Star Lounge and Endeavour Room. When you’re looking for an MC with class, style, a touch of glamour and a hint of humour, Debora Krizak will deliver! ENTERTAINER Debora Krizak is also an accomplished performer, having completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Performing Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Sydney’s University of Technology. She began her career at 17 when she was employed by Triple M Radio as a session vocalist for campaigns such as BP, New Zealand Natural Ice Cream and Pizza Haven to name a few. As a trained singer and dancer, Debora fronted the extremely successful Show Band “Chunky Custard” for 7 years, which traveled Australia and overseas, performing at venues such as The Adelaide Grand Prix, The AFL Breakfast and on board the P&O Fairstar as lead vocalist “Candy”. She has also fronted popular covers and corporate acts TALL POP SYNDROME, BABY LOVES TO CHA CHA and FUNKSTAR. As a soloist, she has sung with the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Dale Ryder, Colleen Hewitt, Tom Burlinson and James Morrison (to name a few), and was a chosen featured solo performer for the Olympic Torch relay celebrations and the Le Mans Race 2000 – with a televised audience of over 2 million world wide. Debora’s theatrical credits include the Australian Premier of the new Mel Brooks musical - “The Producers” which opened in Melbourne in 2004 and went on to tour in both Brisbane and Sydney. Debora performed in the ensemble as well as understudying and performing the lead role of “Ulla” on numerous occasions. From here she went on to portray the role of 'Madame Aubert' in Seabiscuit Production's "Titanic the Musical" which played at Sydney's Theatre Royale. She has also worked for International Concert Spectaculars hosting various shows including ‘Bob the Builder’, ‘Bananas In Pyjamas’ and ‘The Wiggles Live Shows’. Vocally, her screen credits include the Australian film ‘Napoleon’ as well as Kindergym Australia in which she provided both sung and spoken roles for the soundtracks. A recognized face at many high profile events, Debora has also performed at the AAPT Tennis finals and for the media premiere of the musical ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ alongside Dale Ryder. In 2005 she was selected to be a finalist in the prestigious ‘Australian Open Entertainment Championships’, beating over 3000 entrants Australia wide and earning a top 10 placement in the Grand Finals. Debora is also a regular performer on board the Sydney Showboat, backed by dancers from the ‘Moulin Rouge’, showcasing the best of Australian talent to international visitors. Debora is currently understudying Rhonda Burchmore in "Respect the Musical", where she plays the title role of DODIE. TV/ACTOR Debora’s television career began in 1997 when she was offered the role of presenter for Network Ten’s children’s program “The Music Shop” which aired for 2 years, completing a total of 500 episodes. As a Miss Australia / Universe runner up in 2000, Debora became a model presenter on the television show “Battle of the Sexes” as well as a corporate presenter for COMMONWEALTH BANK’S in-house TV staff training program. This was followed by a series of Television commercials for New Idea, Movieland, Mitsubishi, Home Hardware as the ‘know-how’ girl “Helga”, and both a national and international release of 3 consecutive TV advertisements for KFC, playing the character role of “Mrs. Rich”. Some of the highlights of Debora’s live television appearances include ‘Good Morning Australia’ with Bert Newton, ‘Ernie and Denise’, ‘The Kerri-Anne Kennerly Show’ and the 2004 Logie Awards. She
has also featured on FOX 8’s “ROAD TO ROCKSTAR” as one of the 4 Australian
girl finalists left standing in the world wide search for a lead singer to
front ROCKSTAR SUPERNOVA, airing July 2006.
