THE CAST

Anthea Johnson
Anthea is the founder of Fabba, which she originally started in 1996 with just two performers. The show was very successful, toured extensively Australia and overseas and then was disbanded in 2001. With the Abba hype going into overdrive in 2002, Anthea held auditions and started Fabba - the show.

Anthea is a graduate of the prestigious Ensemble Studios. She has worked as a professional actor/singer extensively in all areas of the entertainment industry including, film, television, theatre and musical theatre. One of her career highlights is playing the lead role of Gypsy Rose Lee in "Gypsy" at The Seymour Centre.
Her improvisational skills were honed as a regular "Theatresports" performer at Belvoir Street Theatre.

In the last two years Anthea has been making a career as a writer and/or producer. These shows have been performed at Riverside Theatre in Parramatta, The Stables Theatre and The Stepping Out Theatre.
"The Clinic" a play she has written is being produced by 'six degrees creative' and is being cast by Maura Fay & Associates.

Robyn Hitchcox
Robyn was one the three girls (the blonde of course) in the highly successful corporate show band "Beehive or Else". They toured Australasia extensively and were nominated for various industry awards.

Her love of musical theatre also saw her involved with the Chatswood Musical Society playing various lead roles.

Robyn has worked with various cover bands throughout Sydney. She has also worked in duos and solos throughout the Sydney club scene.

Tim Johnson
Tim's musical background started at a very young age when at school he formed a band that won numerous competitions, including National Battle of the Bands. Original arrangement written by Tim at the age of 16 saw him win a nationwide competition where he and his band performed at the Opera House.

Tim was lead guitarist in the successful original band, "Change of Heart" and "Glow" both of which traveled Australia extensively. He also was lead guitarist and founder for one of Sydney's top cover bands, "Explosive Hits".

He was selected to play lead guitar for "Family Von Trapp" but decided to join Anthea in forming Fabba and then also put together "The Doors Show" His current projects have him producing and arranging music for theatre, television and children's shows (including a Disney project)

Danny McCabe
Danny started playing trumpet at the tender age of 7. He won his first competition at the age of 11 when he appeared on Young Talent Time.

He was then asked to make numerous guest appearances over the next two years. He then took an interest in learning the piano and was a natural. He was accepted into the Conservatorium of Music at the age of 17 where he studied both piano and trumpet.

He has played at many Jazz Festivals including the Manly Jazz Festival, The Newcastle Jazz Festival, The Kiama Jazz Festival, Jakarta Jazz Festival to name a few. Danny has played with the highly successful band "The Allniters" and "Saturday Night Live". He also played with covers bands such as "Tongue & Groove" and "The Doors Show.
