After a
hiatus of almost five years, the ORIGINAL lineup of Australia's
PREMIER 80s band, NEW ROMANTICS, has decided to reunite for some
special shows in 2005. Returning after almost five years is dynamic
frontman Beej, to complete the sensational band that has wowed
audiences around Australia. |

It's been
while between gigs, but a sudden request for the original band to
perform in Sydney late last year has reminded audiences (and the
members!) of the magic that is the original lineup of Beej (vocals),
Dave (guitars and vocals), Ange (bass and vocals), Kim (keyboards
and programming) and Tony (Drums). |

A great
vibe can only be created in the right kind of atmosphere. You need
animated and exciting performers, with a rich energetic sound and a
play list of enjoyable, feel good songs you can dance to. With the
right mix, a night out can be transformed into a great experience! |

New
Romantics are currently in the studio and will also be releasing a
single nationally in April, which will be supported with shows
around Australia. With fans that include Simon le Bon (Duran Duran)
and Tony Hadlee (Spandau Ballet), New Romantics are THE 80s band,
and will be delivering their high energy, high glamour performance
in selected gigs in 2005, reliving the halcyon days of the early
80s, a sound and style that's more in vogue now than it ever was! |
