PAUL CLITHEROEBASED: SYDNEY, AUSTRALIAPaul Clitheroe is one of Australia's most respected financial media commentators and is renowned for his ability to explain complex money issues in plain English. In September 2014, after 31 years, Paul changed his role from executive director to a non-executive role at IPAC Securities, a company he founded in 1983 with four partners. IPAC manages more than $16 billion dollars for clients. Paul hosts Talking Money on the Australian Radio Network nationally. He also hosted Channel Nine's Money from 1993 - 2002 and in 2009 presented Second Chance as well as Money for Jam. Paul is regarded as the leading expert in the field of personal investment strategies and advice and has given keynote presentations at hundreds of conferences in Australia, New Zealand, America and Europe. Paul is one of Australia's most influential people in the finance industry. Paul Clitheroe is also the author of several financial books including the best-selling Making Money and Make Your Fortune by 40. His books have sold over 600,000 copies. Paul is chairman of a number of boards including the Australian Government's Financial Literacy Board, Money magazine, RADD - the youth anti-drink driving body, the Australian String Quartet, a Council Member of Philanthropy Australia and a member of the Sydney University Medical School Advisory Board. In 2008, Paul was invited by the Federal Government to the 2020 Summit as a member of the Future of the Australian Economy Committee. The same year, Paul was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Queens Birthday Honours for service to the financial sector through the promotion of financial literacy, and to the community. In 2012 Macquarie University appointed Paul as Chair of Financial Literacy. He is a Professor with the School of Business and Economics.
