PAUL CLITHEROE
Paul Clitheroe is a founding director
of Ipac securities one of Australia's leading financial planning firms.
Paul and his partners founded Ipac in a one room serviced office in 1983
with an investment each of just $20,000 to start the business, sharing a
desk, one phone, no secretary and no salary for the first two years.
Over two decades Ipac has grown significantly and now manages in excess of
$7 billion with the partnership owning similar businesses in South-East
Asia, South Africa and Dublin.
But outside of the financial services industry he is most widely known as
the host of Channel Nine's Money Program and for his Money segments on A
Current Affair. Since 1999 he has also been the chairman and chief
commentator of Money Magazine.
Paul first appeared in the public eye on Sydney's 2BL as one of the early
radio investment talk show hosts, and he still has a syndicated daily
money tip heard on radio stations across Australia.
Making Money, his weekly newspaper column, appears in 60 regional
newspapers. He also writes a column for the Sunday Telegraph, and has
published several books. Paul's books have sold over 600,000 copies, a
rare achievement for an Australian non-fiction author.
Paul has been a media commentator and conference speaker for more than
fifteen years, and is regarded as the leading expert in the field of
personal investment strategies and advice.

complex information.
