THE SPACE COWBOY

The Space Cowboy is a truly unique and exciting performer from Byron Bay Australia. He started exhibiting his unusual skills at his local markets at the age of eight, a natural born performer. Now at 32 years of age he has amazed audiences in over 30 countries around the world to audiences ranging from 100 to 20,000 delighted onlookers at a time in packed theatres, circus big tops and stadiums. He has shown his diversity and skill by performing at the Edinburgh festival fifteen years in a row, he won ‘The Street Performance World Championship’ in 2006 and 2007, exhibited four different sell out shows in the Sydney Opera house, toured with famous rock bands, freaked out motorcycle dare-devils in massive arena stunt shows, and displayed his extravagant abilities in front of the royal throne of Italy. The Space Cowboy currently holds seven Guinness World Records for his unusual skills and all of his acts are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on all who witness this incredible phenomena….

Since The Space Cowboy was just eight years old he has been perfecting the art of street theater. His unique and incredibly skilled performance that has been seen in over thirty countries around the world has received worldwide acclaim and won many awards including winning the international street theater competition in Rotterdam, voted “Best Street Show” at the Edinburgh fringe festival by the festival magazine ’3 Weeks’, Winner of the ‘Festival Hub Street Performer Of The Year Award 2006' Edinburgh Festival, and Winner of the ‘Street Performance World Championships’ Dublin 2006 and 2007.

The Space Cowboy is the only performer to ever have won ‘The Street Performance World Championships’ more than once!!! The Space Cowboy’s amazing and inspiring street performance is an extremely physical 40 to 70 minute one man circus, jam packed with whip cracking, acrobatics, original sword swallowing displays, and an amazing 7 ball juggle to warm up for the extremely dexterous and daring grand finale which is three spectacular stunts performed high above the spectators heads on top of his 9 foot (3m) unicycle where he finishes by juggling three dangerous objects, a machete, a butcher knife and an axe on top of a 3 meter unicycle while completely BLINDFOLDED! His performance is always presented in a positive, friendly, exciting, and ever evolving form that is guaranteed to be action packed the whole way through.The Space Cowboy’s performance is not only certain to amaze any audience young and old, it is an act that they will be talking about for years to come.
